As Assistant Vice President, Enrollment Management and Registrar, Mr. Villanueva is responsible for increasing student enrollment and fostering an enhanced student registration experience. He is responsible for aligning university processes to expand enrollments for First Time in College (FTIC), transfer, international, and graduate students. In addition to enrollment, Mr. Villanueva plays an integral part in supporting campus retention and graduation. Mr. Villanueva works collaboratively with the Vice President of Strategic Enrollment Management, college deans, faculty, students, community colleges, and local industry to execute the university’s strategic enrollment management plan.
Mr. Villanueva serves as a member of the Vice President’s senior leadership team. He advocates and promotes the division throughout the university and assist in leading the division in the absence of the Vice President.
Specific areas of administrative oversight include: undergraduate admissions, graduate and international admissions, registration, graduation, academic scheduling, registrar’s office, scholarships and financial aid, minority male recruitment, and student ambassadors.
