Graduate School and Internship Fair
The 17th Annual University of Houston-Downtown Scholars Academy Graduate and Internship Fair (GSIF) will be held on Friday, October 28, 2016 from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The mission of the GSIF promotes students within the Scholars Academy to prospective graduate schools and internships. GSIF expects to host over 60 exhibitors representing over 40 different graduate schools and academic/industry internship programs from within the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM).
Additionally, GSIF highlights undergraduate research projects conducted by UHD students in STEM. Invited CST students having participated in summer research will present research posters. Qualifying activities are projects completed as part of internships, independent/directed study at UHD or any undergraduate research on or off campus.
GSIF is sponsored by UHD's Scholars Academy and is funded by The Brown Foundation, Inc., National Science Foundation, U.S. Department of Education as well as the University.
