UHD's International Studies program includes summer-long research and high-impact educational experiences with institutions in Poland, Panama, and Sweden.
Interested students should contact Dr. Janusz Grebowicz for more information.
Almost 20 years ago Dr. Grebowicz created the program based on the exchange of students for a variety of summer research activities. Mainly, these are intensive education & research activities typically of 5 weeks (duration of US Summer semester). In return, UHD invites students from those schools to participate in projects created for this program. Dr. Grebowicz has also initiated the project of a summer school for the repositioning of nuclear-spent fuels in geological formations organized by the KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Oskarshamn, Sweden, and was a lecturer there.
Coming up: Dr. Grebowicz is working on the organization of the annual European-American Summer School on Rocks for Energy to be hosted interchangeably between Houston and Krakow as part of the prospective cooperation with AGH UST.
