Linda Garza is ABD from the University of Houston in English Literature and earned her MA in Literature and Creative Writing at the University of Houston and teaches upper level English courses at UHD.

​Summary of Qualifications:

Linda Garza is ABD from the University of Houston in English Literature and earned her MA in Literature and Creative Writing at UH.  Thus, she has extensive graduate coursework that qualifies her to teach upper-division courses.   While at UH, she coordinated a grant from Shell Oil to design curriculum for Engineering and Technology students.  Prior to graduate work, she worked as an officer in Commercial Real Estate lending, preparing materials and writing for professional contexts, thus preparing her to teach the upper-division introductory course in Professional Writing (ENG 3302).
