Bill Pogue taught at UHD as an Adjunct Lecturer until 2010 when offered his present full-time faculty position.  He holds a B.A. degree from University of Denver, with graduate work at University of Minnesota.  Apart from academia, he has decades of work experience in media, marketing and arts administration.  Mr. Pogue operated his own marketing firm for over a quarter-century and seeks to apply experiences gained in aiding students’ communication in the academic setting and beyond.

​Mr. Pogue has had Master level course work at Jones International University (BC: Business Communication; BC592 Using the Internet in Business; BC511 Understanding the Human Communication Process; BC531: Interpersonal Communication for Business; BC533: Making Ethical Management Decisions; BC561: Emerging Communications Technology; BC625 Advanced oral and Written Business Communication; BC500 Action Research for Business Solutions; BC541 Managing High Performance Teams; BC628: Designing High-Impact Presentations) in Business Communication. He also has extensive background in business communication, marketing, advertising, public speaking, and fund raising. Finally, he has served in various professional roles that give him valuable knowledge about Communication in the workplace.
