About the Conference

THE DEPARTMENT OF HISTORY, HUMANITIES, AND LANGUAGES of the University of Houston-Downtown invites you to join the 6th Annual HHL Student Research Conference.  Past conferences have featured up to thirty student presenters who represented the University of Houston-Downtown, Lone Star College, University of Houston-Clear Lake, Rice University, Texas Southern University, and Sam Houston State University.

Considering the current COVID-19 climate, the College of Humanities and Social Sciences is moving the 6th Annual HHL Student Virtual Research Conference to a virtual platform with the use of Zoom to ensure the safety of all of our participants.
