Crystal Guillory is the Assistant Dean in the College of
Humanities and Social Sciences at UHD. Crystal Guillory received her B.S. in
Interdisciplinary Studies from UHD and her M.A. in African American Studies
from Temple University. She started her career in education as an Upward Bound
teacher and counselor here at UHD and at Harcum College outside of
Philadelphia. After graduating from Temple University, Ms. Guillory
started working for UHD as a faculty member in the English Department while
continuing to work as a counselor and English teacher with the UHD Upward Bound
program. She is also one of the original fellows for the Center for
Critical Race Studies. She has
over ten years of experience working with minority populations and
first-generation students.
