Humanoid NAO to Life

Get ready to experience the power of programming with the latest Humanoid robot NAO. Enter the NAO robot. Known around the world for both its incredible educational potential and its public presentation, this robot will work hand in hand with you. Start by learning python programming and work towards making the NAO robot dance as a result of your programming skills! In our absolutely unique programming class you will program the coolest robot in the world to speak, walk, dance and sing. You will even come up with your own film script for a short film episode featuring these NAO robots for our "Kids Chaos" comedy series. With a robot at command, nothing is out of reach!

Students ages 12 through 16 (7th Grade - 10th Grade)

Recommended Prerequisites​​

Understanding of any programming language and interest to learn to program robots


June 3 – 13 – Monday to Thursday – Two Weeks

  • University of Houston-Downtown (Afternoon Session 1 pm to 4 pm)

June 17 – 27 – Monday to Thursday – Two Weeks

  • Cornerstone Christian Academy (Afternoon Session 1 pm to 4 pm)
July 1 – 11 – Monday to Thursday – Two Weeks (no class on July 4)

  • Faith West School (Afternoon Session 1 pm to 4 pm)
  • Nolan Ryan Jr. High School (Morning Session 9 am to 12 noon)
