The Electrifying World of 3D Game Design

Sharing is a good thing, especially if it’s your own customized 3D game! In this course, you’ll design and build 3D games with Unity – one of the newest 3D development engines out there. It’s super powerful and easy to use, so it won’t take you long to master the fundamentals of 3D level design. Learn how to create a variety of genres, from first-person shooters to racing games. Discover tips and tricks that will speed your development time while adding intrigue and suspense. This is the beginning of something great!

Students ages 12 through 17 (7th Grade - 11th Grade)

Students wanting to program complex 3D environments and interactions.

Recommended Prerequisites

Prior experience programming or successful completion of a CompuCamp course such as VB.NET, C# or Java

Schedule​​​

June 17 – June 27 – Monday to Thursday – Two Weeks

  • University of Houston-Clear Lake (8:30 am to 11:30 am)
  • Faith West School (1 pm to 4 pm)
  • University of Houston-Downtown (1 pm to 4 pm)
  • Cornerstone Christian Academy, Sugar Land (9 am to 12 noon)​
