REGISTRATION DATES
JUN 8, 2009Priority web registration for declared majors begins at 8 a.m.
JUN 15, 2009Web registration for all other students
AUG 22, 2009 Last day for Regular Registration (2 p.m.) Saturday/Weekend College Registration 8 a.m. - 2 p.m.
AUG 23-28, 2009Schedule Changes. Late Registration (including late fee) begins at 8 am.
SEP 8, 2009Last day to drop a class without a grade. (Official Day of Record)
OCT 29, 2009Last day to withdraw from a course.
 
NOTE:
Registration deadlines are midnight, unless otherwise noted.
In person transactions must be made by business closing time.
 
PAYMENT DATES
AUG 17, 2009Emergency tuition loans available (online only) (2 p.m.)
AUG 22, 2009Last day to make payment for Regular Registration (2 p.m.) or classes will be dropped
SEP 16, 2009Last day to pay for Late Registration (including late fee). Payment must be received by 6pm or classes will be dropped.
SEP 21, 2009Second payment of installment plan due
OCT 21, 2009Third payment of installment plan due
OCT 28, 2009Emergency Loan Due
NOV 20, 2009Final payment of installment plan due(6pm)
DEC 5, 2009Last day to pay installment balance without $50 delinquent fee.
 
REFUND DATES
AUG 23, 2009Last day for 100% refund on complete withdrawal of tuition and fees (less$15 fee). In person transactions must be made by Saturday, August 22, 2pm.
AUG 24-28, 2009Complete withdrawals receive an 80% refund of tuition and fees (student still responsible for 20% of total bill).
AUG 29, 2009
SEP 3, 2009		Complete withdrawals receive a 70% refund of tuition and fees (student still responsible for 30% of total bill).
SEP 4-10, 2009Complete withdrawals receive a 50% refund of tuition and fees (student still responsible for 50% of total bill).
SEP 8, 2009Last day to receive refund for partial withdrawal
SEP 11-16, 2009Complete withdrawals receive a 25% refund of tuition and fees (student still responsible for 75% of total bill). No refund after September 16.

Fall 2009 application deadline for freshman admission. $35 Application Fee.
 July 16-August 1st $75 Late Application Fee.

AUG 1, 2009

Fall 2009 application deadline for transfer admission. $35 Application Fee.
August 2-August 15 $75 Late Application Fee.

OCT 1, 2009

Spring 2010 application deadline for international undergraduate admission

DEC 16, 2009

Spring 2010 application deadline for freshman admission

JAN 4, 2010

Spring 2010 application deadline for transfer admission

AUG 21, 2009Math Bypass Testing - S705 (Math 1301, 1302, 1404 only), 10am-12 noon and 2-4pm
SEP 8, 2009Official Day of Record/Last day to:
 • appeal residency status
 • drop without a grade
 • receive refund for partial withdrawal
 • change to audit status
 • request an International Student Health Insurance waiver
SEP 16, 200920th class day (for reporting purposes)
DEC 9, 2009Faculty Online Grade Entry begins at 8am
DEC 18, 2009Official close of Fall semester
DEC 20, 2009Commencement, 11 am Minute Maid Park
DEC 21, 2009Deadline for Faculty Online Grade Entry ends at 12 noon.
