The Security Management Program maintains a scholarship fund to assist students in meeting the costs of the program. The primary goal of the scholarship is to support persons who have the capability not only to succeed in the MSM graduate program but those who have the potential to succeed in becoming top Security Management. The amount of any scholarship is contingent available funds, the number of applicants, and the relative merits of the candidates.
To be eligible for a scholarship, you must have applied to the MSM program and have been formally admitted to the program.
Complete the application form, below and follow the directions concerning a letter explaining the financial impact this scholarship award would have on your personal and career goals.
The application is not considered complete until all required documents have been received.
In addition to and in coordination with the material in the scholarship application packet, the following information will be considered for scholarship awards:
- Academic and/or professional preparation and experience in the field of study based on material (transcripts and letters of recommendation)submitted with application to the program
- Impact of the scholarship on the applicant's career
- Impact of the applicant's contribution to the program
- And for continuing students in the program who are either new applicants or applicants seeking a renewal of a scholarship, the student's academic performance and progress in the program.
The MSM Scholarship Committee makes its recommendations to the Associate Dean of the College of Business who will make decisions concerning the recipients, the amount, and the length of time of any awards.
