Priscilla is Director,
Insurance and Risk Management Center at the University of Houston-Downtown. She
directs and manages all aspects of the degree program including faculty,
curriculum, and marketing.
Priscilla is Vice President of Risk Management Programs for The National
Alliance. Her role and responsibilities included the development and progress
of The National Alliance's advanced programs, including the Certified Risk
Manager (CRM) Program and the Certified School Risk Manager (CSRM) Program. She
brought 20+ years of experience with insurance carriers, operations management
and risk management to this position.
Priscilla was Director of Risk, Safety, Transportation, and Environmental for
RSC Equipment Rental headquartered in Scottsdale, Arizona, where she was
responsible for the direction and oversight of all aspects of the risk, claims,
transportation, safety, and environmental regulatory programs.
Priscilla received her BA in Economics and Finance from the University of South
Carolina and earned an MBA from the W.P. Carey School of Business, Arizona
State University.
Priscilla has served on the Curriculum Advisory Committee to revise the CRM
Risk Financing course and has spoken nationally on risk issues at American
Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE) and the Arizona Environmental Summit. She
was the first to achieve the CRM designation in Arizona in 1997 and holds the
Associate in Risk Management (ARM) designation. She earned the Certified
Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation in 2008.
