Subsequently, granted one of three Fellowships in the University of Houston Main C.T. Bauer College of Business Management Department, Dr. Angert served as an instructor and research assistant, earning his Doctorate of Philosophy in Strategic Management, with a minor in Research Methods, all while becoming a member of the Under 30 Club by earning his Ph.D. at age 26. Intrapreneurship, which involves the focusing of entrepreneurial skills within an existing corporation to create new services, products, or systems that will improve the company, remains one of Dr. Angert's favorite undertakings, and he works assiduously to develop techniques and devices that will enhance and advance company profitability. Dr. Angert, active in research, presently is concentrating on diversity within organizations and especially diversity on corporate boards of directors; additionally, his journal submissions and op-ed articles include pieces that highlight other pertinent contemporary areas of concern.
