Fifth-Year Accounting Scholarship
The Texas Public Accountancy Act provides for the establishment and maintenance of a scholarship program for fifth-year accounting students. The program is funded by Texas CPAs who contribute $10 annually to the scholarship program through their license renewal.
The purpose of the Fifth-Year Accounting Student Scholarship Program is to provide financial assistance to students intending to take the CPA examination as Texas applicants and ultimately to serve the residents of this state.

The Houston District Export Council is pleased to announce a competition for two scholarships of $3,000/year for students in the fields of international trade and business, exports, international transportation and logistics, for the 2020-2021 school year.

Institute for Professionals in Taxation
The principal objective of the IPT Scholarship program is to provide an introduction to the
field for individuals who are considering or plan to pursue a career in state/local taxation,
either in the public or private sector.
Student scholarships are available for up to $2,000 in eligible costs associated with attending the IPT Annual Conference. The scholarship covers eligible travel and lodging expenses properly documented on an IPT reimbursement voucher. The Conference registration fee is waived for scholarship winners. Scholarships are available, on a limited basis, to full-time and part-time
students, including teaching and research assistants in select degree programs who demonstrate a manifest interest in a career in state and local taxation. Award recipients are chosen by the IPT University Relations Committee.
The IPT Annual Conference is being held in June in Chicago, Illinois. In addition to general sessions featuring keynote speakers, the program offers numerous general and breakout sessions focused on state business income taxation, sales and use taxation, property taxation, and credits and incentives. Scholarship recipients may concentrate in one such field or attend sessions in all of them. You can learn more about the Conference at

Ritchie-Jennings Memorial Scholarship Program
Through the Ritchie-Jennings Memorial Scholarship, the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners Foundation supports the education of students who have an interest in pursuing a career in fraud examination. The scholarship provides an opportunity for students to advance their education and anti-fraud career paths. Many of these outstanding and deserving students go on to become Certified Fraud Examiners.

Sam Haskell Scholarship
The Sam Haskell Scholarship will award one high school senior, current college, or graduate student with a $1,000 scholarship.
Sam Haskell founded this annual scholarship with the understanding that many students do not have the financial means to further their education. Sam has been a lifelong patron for higher education and has helped many young people achieve their academic and professional goals.
