Success Stories: Elda Rueda

Elda Rueda, 30, was the first in her family to attend college. She came from Colombia on a student visa to study English for two years before pursuing her Bachelor of Science degree in chemisty. Rueda has been accepted into the doctoral program for vision science at University of Houston's College of Optometry.
