The Dr. J Don Boney Sr. Book Scholarship is a separate scholarship provided by the Dr. J Don Boney Sr. Scholarship Committee at the University of Houston-Downtown. The scholarship is intended to assist and encourage students in completing their college education. The scholarship is directed specifically to UHD students with any major or career interests. The Dr. J Don Boney Sr. Book Scholarship Program is open to sophomore through senior level students enrolled at the University of Houston-Downtown with a financial need. This scholarship awards two $600 Book Scholarships per academic year, to be distributed equally for fall and spring semesters.
