Q: Do you know when you can apply to become
a declared major?
A: You may declare a major when:
- You are currently enrolled at UH-Downtown.
- You have passed English 1302, and Math 1301
or 1310.
- You have completed 30 college-level hours.
- You have fulfilled all TSI (Texas Success Initiative)
obligations.
- You have a cumulative GPA of at least 2.0
- You have no holds.
