| This is Coach Nava's third year as coach of the UHD women's volleyball club team. She has 15 years of coaching experience as head coach at the high school level. She has coached club volleyball for 7 years. She is a graduate of Houston Baptist University with a Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology and Psychology with a Minor in Education. She was a collegiate student-athlete, participating as a scholarship athlete at both Lee College and HBU during her career. An all-around utility player, Coach Nava spent different portions of her career successfully playing the hitter, setter and defensive specialist positions. Coach Nava is currently the head varsity volleyball coach at Robert E. Lee High School in Baytown. Coach Nava lives in Houston with her two sons. She can be contacted at alicia.nava@gccisd.net. |
