| This is Coach Wood's third season as the UHD men’s basketball club team coach. After taking over as coach three games into the fall 2007 season, Kevin led the team to the NHMCCD (now Lone Star Conference) title with a 9-0 record. Kevin previously coached boy’s and girl’s youth teams at AAU and other basketball camps. Kevin played USCAA basketball at Taylor University Fort Wayne in Indiana and started all four years of basketball as either point guard or shooting guard. His play put him in the school’s record books with the most played games by any player, third all time scoring, first in steals, second in assists, fourth in rebounds and is in the top ten in most other categories. Kevin was twice named USCAA first team All-American in 2005 and 2006. He was selected USCAA Player of the Week several times and made numerous All-Tournament teams throughout his collegiate career.
