It focuses on diminishing healthcare disparities within the UHD campus and Houston community and creates awareness among the UHD community of integral health issues with the community, nation, and world. This event is a collaborative effort with various student organizations, the Office of Student Activities, and Sports & Fitness.
Culture on the Bayou Bash / Bayou Bash
Culture on the Bayou is our largest spring event at UHD. It provides cultural entertainment, live music, food, and fun to celebrate the richness and diversity of UHD. Clubs and organizations registered with the university use this time to fund raise, and raise awareness about their organizations. The evening component is the Bayou Bash which has crawfish, drinks, and zydeco music.
