Commencement
The University of Houston-Downtown Fall 2009 Commencement exercises will be held at Minute Maid Park, home of the Houston Astros on Sunday, December 20, 2009 @ 11 a.m. We are very excited about partnering with the Astros to hold one of the most important UHD events of the year in our own downtown neighborhood!
Students who have applied for graduation and plan to walk in the commencement ceremonies must report to Minute Maid Park no later than 9 a.m. on the day of the event to receive final instructions. Students should use the Atrium Entrance. Family and guests must use the Right Field Entrance.
Students, faculty and staff with special needs are encouraged to call Scottie Attaway at 713-221-8679 prior to commencement. Special wheelchair accessible seating is available. Please ask one of the uniformed commencement volunteers on the day of the event. They will direct you to the right location.
