Enrollment Verification Procedure Update

As of Monday, July 11, 2011, the Registrar’s Office will no longer certify schedules for enrollment verifications prior to the official day of record for the semester in question. This procedural update has been enacted to become consistent with the guidelines set forth by the National Student Clearinghouse for enrollment verifications and loan deferments.
Official enrollment verifications requests submitted prior to the official day of record for a particular semester will be held and processed after the official day of record for that semester. In certain cases, students may obtain an “unofficial” enrollment verification by special request. Degree Verifications
The University of Houston-Downtown has authorized the National Student Clearinghouse to provide Degree Verifications for all UHD alumni. The National Clearinghouse can be contacted at:

Loan Deferment: UH-Downtown automatically reports the enrollment status for loan deferment purposes of all currently enrolled students three times a semester to the National Clearinghouse which routinely reports to the Department of Education as well as lenders and guarantors
Enrollment Verifications
Enrollment Verifications are often required for purposes of health insurance coverage, good student auto insurance discounts, loan deferments, Veteran’s benefits, etc. University of Houston-Downtown students can obtain an enrollment verification by submitting an Enrollment Verification Request to the Registrar’s Office.
