General
The University
of Houston-Downtown welcomes students from around the world. Because the
University of Houston-Downtown is a small campus of the University of Houston
system, students benefit from smaller classes and from faculty who take a personal
interest in each student. Here are some facts about the university:

Degree Programs Offered
The University of Houston-Downtown
is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges
and Schools to award Bachelor's degrees. The College of Business is accredited
by the American Assembly of Collegiate Schools of Business. The Engineering
Technology piping degree is accredited by the Technology Accreditation Commission
of the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology.
