What is CompuCamp 2007? Who should attend?

The CompuCamp program offers advanced, hands-on computer training for students aged 10-17 years. Participants will learn high-level computer applications and programming delivered in two-week courses. Anyone familiar with an operating system such as Windows, Mac or Unix operating system can attend these classes. Three sessions are available for Summer 2006. Limited class size ensures personal instruction from skilled computer teachers.

University of Houston, along with Science Adverntures, offers week-long sessions with the newest and coolest in cutting-edge science content to students aged 6-12 years. Children are introducted to thematic science concepts in natural surroundings as they build projects, conduct experiments, and place science-oriented games. Children are grouped according to age, and instructors tailor the lessons accordingly.

What is JumStartCamp 2007? Who should attend?

JumpStartCamp is designed to give students an extra edge in the coming school year. School students of every age will find the perfect course to help them get ahead. High school students will experience the strongest preparation for SAT available. Junior high and elementary school students, grouped according to grade levels, get to choose from a wide range of fun math and communications subjects.

Cancellations/Refunds/Transfers

Notice of all cancellations/transfers must be sent in writing via email abtc@uhd.edu or fax to 713-221-8166.

Refund Eligibility:

Cancellation received on or before May 15, 2007
Full refund less $50 processing fee for each course
Cancellation received after May 15, 2007 and at least 5 working days prior to the start of the camp
Full refund less $100 processing fee for each course
Cancellations received with in 5 working days to the start of the camp.
Credit refund less $100 processing fee for each course. Credit is usable through the 2007 camp session
NO REFUNDS ARE ISSUED FOR CANCELLATIONS RECEIVED ONCE THE CAMP BEGINS.

Registrations are transferable. Transfers must be in writing and must be received no later than 10 days prior to the start of the camp week.

No refunds are issued for no-shows, late arrivals, early withdrawals, absences, power failures or camper dismissals for disciplinary reasons. Falsifying information is grounds for dismissal without refund. We reserve the right to cancel a session date or location if participation numbers are not adequate. You may select an alternative session date or request a full cash refund of tuition paid.
