Home > CompuCamp > Game Design -- from Scratch
Most video game enthusiasts are players, not designers. Dare to be different! View different styles of games and game programming using Scratch (MIT Media Lab). Program through interactive storytelling. Your creativity plus the nuts and bolts of programming will culminate in your own stories, games, and animations – all shared on the web. The course will also introduce standard programming and game development terms that will serve as a foundation for future (and more advanced) programming and game development course work. Take home a copy of your own game at the end of the camp.
(Parents, if your child is into computers, this programming for kids course could be the start of something BIG!)
