New to University of Houston Summer Program is the Engineering Camp. Like students with talent in athletics or the arts, students with academic talent deserve the opportunity to develop their skills to the highest possible level. The University of Houston, along with Engineering for Kids, presents a week-long cameo of fun, engaging, and rewarding challenges that explore several engineering disciplines such as Aerospace, Biomedical, Chemical, Civil, and Environmental Engineering. Students learn how engineers impact society, and experience engineering themselves through hands-on, creative investigations and design activities, where exploration and risk-taking are encouraged. While the focus is on S.T.E.M academics and project based learning, the social experience that results from bringing these students together is an integral part of the program which creates a summer to remember!
