Online learning allows students flexibility, access to new courses, and the convenience of learning at any time and at any pace. Perfect for those students unable to attend class in a traditional classroom setting or for those wanting an alternative to the classroom, online learning allows you the control to determine how and when you want to learn.

Choose from one of the following:

Self-study courses may be taken at your convenience and pace. These courses are interactive and engaging learning modules that incorporate lessons, examples, activities, and quizzes. Each lesson has assessment questions that can be used to determine your training needs or validate new knowledge and skills. Self-study courses can be started at any time, and are available for a 12-week period.

Online instructor-facilitated courses, provide lessons and assignments with instructor facilitation, monitor class activity, and assist students for the duration of the class. This format encourages student-to-instructor interaction and student-to-student interaction utilizing online messages boards. Instructor-facilitated courses also include the equivalent self-study course and the online reference material, so you will have everything you need at your fingertips. The online instructor-facilitated portion of the course varies by the course type, but access is given to all materials for 12 weeks.

To successfully connect to on line courses, you must:
  1. Meet above hardware and software minimum requirements.
  2. Have Internet access with a 28.8 modem or faster.
  3. Accept browser cookies.
  4. Enable JavaScript on your Web browser.
  5. Set your browser to refresh at every page.
  6. Not be behind a firewall that blocks cookies or blocks access to a secure server.
Web-based training is one of many ways students prepare for certification exam. Research shows students use 1.78 methods of preparation for certification exams. The passing of any certification test rests solely on the learner's preparation.
