William Kelly is a full time employee, dad, husband and student who pulled himself up by his bootstraps. (Houston, Texas, February 18, 2007) William Kelly, an honorably discharged Navy man and the product of an abusive home, is making something of his life. He's taking four classes while he manages a family and a full-time job at UH-Downtown in Sugar Land as a maintenance engineer. Does he sleep? Yes, a couple of hours each night. He saves his homework for lunch break and weekends.
Kelly's goal is an MBA. He's already preparing for the GMAT while finishing his engineering degree. Clearly his work is noticed. He was the only engineering student to receive the Mike Baldwin Engineering Scholarship this year. For a better idea of how Kelly got himself to his present position, read Denise Adams' story, courtesy of the Fort Bend Herald.
