(Houston, Texas, March 5, 2007) The month of March is devoted to women, their history, issues, development and achievements. The UH-Downtown Women's Month Committee welcomes motivational speaker Tandelyn Atkinson Weaver on Tuesday, March 6th. This career coach "speaks powerfully about the simple truths of discovering your greatness and power within" (see the website address below).
Weaver, a native Houstonian, received her MBA in Finance and Marketing from the Wharton School of Finance. She is a Board Member of the DePelchin Children's Center and has served as Chair of Parent Guild for St John's School. She is a licensed Workshop Facilitator.
If you are a dreamer, a wisher, someone who hopes for good things but waits for them to appear, this lecture is for you. Weaver bases her message on the foundation of positive action. She can help you change your thinking about those things you want but have not yet achieved, about those reasons that keep you from action, about those hesitancies in your spirit that hold you back. Through a sense of esteem, faith and courage, she will help you make needed commitments. She will inspire you to navigate your present and create your future in accordance with your personal vision.
You are invited to Weaver's address on Tuesday, March 6th, from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. in the Wilhelmina Cullen Robertson Auditorium. Click here to learn more about Weaver.
