A Clear Voice amongst the Futurologists

Jack Plunkett had a lot to say last November in his address to the UH-Downtown community; and, if you think he didn't have something to say especially to you, take a little time to review the video of his presentation.     The College of Business Executive Speaker Series brought Plunkett to us for his assessment and thorough delineation of what the next decade brings.   His topic was the ten future trends that you need to understand to survive in the world of business.   But, even if you're not about surviving in business, you are about surviving, and that is how deeply Plunkett's insights cut.   His analysis of population shifts alone makes the presentation invaluable.   You'll find that in the second trend.   So, if you were one of the unlucky ones who couldn't work the actual presentation into your schedule, carve out a little time this weekend.   Get yourself a strong cup of coffee, sit back in your easy chair, and let your mind wrap itself around Plunkett's crisp logic as he paints the life you can expect to be living within the next three to seven years.   And we thank you, College of Business, for bringing the information to us.

The entire presentation is available in formats suitable for either modem or high-speed connections. Please choose the appropriate one below:
