UH-Downtown Presents Culture on the Bayou

Live band, ethnic foods and plenty of fun!

(Houston, Texas, April 16, 2007)   On Wednesday, April 18 between 11am and 1pm on the south deck, UH-Downtown celebrates the diversity of its students, staff and faculty with the annual Culture on the Bayou festival.   Come enjoy local band Ashbury Keys while you sample a smorgasbord of ethnic foods.   Proceeds support student organizations.   Oh, and don't forget to stop by the henna tattoo artist's table.   Those henna patterns are bewitching, but we must warn you - in India they commemorate marriages, so don't start anything you can't finish!
