UHD students, staff, faculty, and alumni can borrow in person at the University of Houston Libraries and at the Alfred R. Neumann Library of the University of Houston Clear Lake. To borrow from these libraries, you must present a UHD library card with a current sticker. For details, call 713-221-8186.

TexShare
A TexShare card is valid at participating universities and public libraries throughout Texas. Please come to the W. I. Dykes Library Circulation Desk to get your card. Distance education students can request a card by phone at 713-221-8186. For details, please see TexShare Card Information.

Rice University
Rice does not participate in TexShare, but qualified borrowers may check out up to two books by special arrangement. Please request a borrowing form at the W. I. Dykes Library Information Desk. Borrowers must fill out one form for each book. For details, please call 713-221-8187.

HARLiC
Faculty may use a HARLiC card to borrow materials from research libraries in the Houston area. To get your card, please visit the library Information Desk. For details, see HARLiC Card Information.
