All materials are subject to recall regardless of the original or renewed due date. Materials may be recalled when another person places a hold on an item that is either overdue or on a long loan period. If your item is recalled, we will send you a notice, which may indicate a revised due date. If you provide us with an email address, we will send notices to you by email. Otherwise we will use the mailing address provided by you at your initial library registration. It is your responsibility to notify us if your email or mailing address changes.
Late fees and other charges may be assessed when library materials are not returned on time. Borrowing privileges will be blocked if charges total five dollars or more. For more information, please see Overdue and Lost Materials.
Library materials may be renewed online via the Library Catalog, in person at the Circulation Desk, or by telephone at 713-221-8186. Your renewal may be blocked if the items are overdue, if they are on hold for another person, if you owe fines, or if there is a problem with your library account. If your renewal is blocked, please call 713-221-8186.
For more information about the library's circulation services, please see Borrowing Library Materials.
