renewals. There are three ways to renew: Renew in person at
the Circulation Desk; renew online using My
Library Account; or renew by phone by calling (713) 221-8186.
Renewal may be blocked if another person has
requested the item.

Loan Periods for Other Materials:
- Audiobooks are loaned for 2 weeks with
1 renewal.
- Juvenile Collection books are loaned for
2 weeks with 1 renewal.
- Texas Education Collection books are loaned
for 2 weeks with 1 renewal.
- Periodicals and Reference Collection
books must be used in the library (faculty may request 24-hour
loans).
- Standardized test preparation books (i.e.,
TOEFL, MCAT, GRE) are loaned for 1 week with no renewals.
