Linking to Full-Text Documents

The library provides online access to thousands of full-text publications through this website and the Library Catalog. By becoming familiar with a few simple concepts, faculty can also add these publications directly into online course pages.

To link to full-text documents purchased by the library, we need a stable "library link" with two elements:

  1. The prefix https://ezproxy.uhd.edu/login?url= prompts students to enter their user name and password.
  2. The second element is a "permanent" or "stable" link to the document.

We made the following table to explain how these elements can be located in various databases or journal collections:
