Dr. Uptal Bose  

Dr. Bose has a Ph.D. in Management Information Systems from Texas A&M University. He received an M.S. from the University of Florida and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology at Kharagpur in India. Dr. Bose has taught Database Systems, Data Warehouses & Data Mining, Systems Analysis & Design, Management Information Systems, Advanced Microsoft Office Applications, C++ and Visual Basic Programming, and Web Site Design amongst other courses over fifteen years. Prior to entering the academic career, he has had extensive industrial experience in project management and planning in the chemical process plant industry. Dr. Bose researches in Group Support Systems, Decision Support and Expert Systems, Strategic Issues in Information Systems, Electronic Commerce, and End User Computing. His research articles have been published in Omega: The International Journal in Management Science, Journal of Group Decision and Negotiation, Society of Advanced Management Journal, Knowledge Management & E-Learning: An International Journal, and Journal of Information Technology among other journals. He has presented several research papers in national and international conferences. Dr. Bose is a member of the Decision Sciences Institute and the Association of Information Systems.
