The Scribner Writers Series of literary criticism offers 1,600 original and detailed bio-critical essays on the lives and works of important authors from around the world. Many authors in the Scribner Writers Series are seen from multiple perspectives through two, three or sometimes four essays. Students can go directly to an entry on a specific author, combine search criteria for a much more complex search, or explore thematic and chronological topics to make connections among writers. The Scribner Writers Series is also available as part of the Literature Resource Center database.
