A not-for-profit service that hosts electronic journals from many different publishers. The collection is strongest in the life sciences and the health sciences, but it also includes many journals in the social sciences. By connecting through the library web site, UHD students, faculty, and staff get access to full text articles from over 50 journals purchased by UHD, including the Journal of Biological Chemistry and Science magazine. In addition to these subscription resources, HighWire also provides access to more than 500,000 free full text articles from journals that are not purchased by UHD. If you find an article that is not available in a full text version, you have the option to purchase the article from HighWire or to request a copy through the library's Interlibrary Loan service.
