Covers more than 9,300 peer-reviewed journals with full-text articles from more than 5,300 titles. Topics include the arts, the humanities, the social sciences, biology, chemistry, computer science, education, engineering, ethnic studies, language and literature, medicine, physics, psychology, and many others. Indexing for major titles like The Nation and National Geographic goes back as far as 1865. The database also includes encyclopedias, conference proceedings, monographs, and reports, with particularly strong coverage of reports from the U.S. Department of Education and the World Health Organization.
