The Dykes Library has several collections that include publications for children and young adults. Fiction and nonfiction books for young people can be found in the Juvenile Literature Collection at the back of 5th Floor North. Textbooks and curriculum guides used by the Houston Independent School District are available in the Texas Education Collection in Room 506A-South. These collections are supplemented by Juvenile Databases that offer online access to age-appropriate books and magazines.
