Visitors
Visitors from the University of Houston and the University of Houston-Clear Lake can borrow library materials under the same rules as UHD Students and Staff, UHD Faculty, or UHD Alumni, depending on the borrower's status at their home campus.
The following loan periods are available to visitors who present a TexShare Card from another Texas library, as well as visitors who purchase an Affiliate card from the UHD Library. See Borrowing & Circulation for details about Affiliate cards.

Note: Visiting faculty from other Texas colleges and university can get longer loan periods for some materials if they present a TexShare Card from their home library. The extended loan period for General Collection books is 1 semester. The loan period for compact discs, DVDs, and videos is 1 week. No renewals are allowed.
