
Request Center
The Work Request Center serves as the liaison
between the Facilities Management Department
and the campus community for all communications regarding
work requests, outages, and on-going projects.
Contracted Services
This service unit is responsible for the direction and supervision
of maintenance and construction projects, and the contractors associated
with each. It is also responsible for the supervision of the UHD
Porter Shop & Special Event setups.
Maintenance/Renovation
This service unit is responsible for the maintenance and repair
of walls, ceilings, floors and doors; furniture moves.
MEP (Mechanical Electrical Plumbing)
This service unit is responsible for the maintenance and repair of the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems of the university.
Shipping/Receiving/Mail Services
This service unit is responsible for the distribution of packages,
inter-office, express courier, and U.S. mail to all academic, student
affairs, and administration department offices. It is also responsible
for the campus recycle program.
Safety/Security
The service unit is responsible for departmental safety issues,
including the training of the entire Facilities Management Department.
Also responsible for issuing keys and access codes.
Business Operations
This service unit performs all the Facilities Management Department
accounting, purchasing and budget management functions.
