Travel Office

The UHD Travel Office was established to consolidate all functions of UHD travel processing. Our main objective is to provide optimum travel services to UHD staff, faculty, students and contractors, at the lowest possible costs as well as offer assistance with following UHD, UHS and State of Texas guidelines for reporting travel expenses and reimbursements.

 

What We Do

• Research and Provide travel information based on departmental requests
• Process approved Travel Request Forms
• Book flight, rental car and lodging reservations
• Plan small group travel for UHD sponsored trips
• Audit pre-travel and post-travel documentation
• Process travel vouchers for reimbursement
• Provide monthly travel training on State of Texas Travel Rules and Guidelines, UHD Travel Policy, Travel Office procedures and UHD Travel Office form preparation
