We at Multimedia Services here at the University of Houston-Downtown, support the university's teaching mission by enhancing the effectiveness and quality of instructional delivery methods. With state-of-the-art Presentation Classrooms, we provide a means to achieve greater impact of teaching in the classroom. We have many general classrooms which are classified as “Electronic Classrooms”, with LCD data/video projectors, VHS/DVD combo players, computer interface, Document cameras, Screen, Overhead projectors for transparencies, USB connections, and network connections. Our responsibility also includes scheduling and providing Multimedia carts for non-presentation classroom. Multimedia Services also provides and maintains presentation technology support of events in Auditorium, Lecture Halls and Special Events facilities throughout the UHD campus.
