e-Syllabus Instructions

The e-Syllabus process involves three steps:

  • Step 1: Create Course Syllabus
    In step 1, you will be presented with an online form to input the major course requirements for each of your CRNs, including:
    • Learning Objectives
    • Major Assignments
    • Required Reading
    • Recommended Reading
    • Lecture Topics

WordPasteIconYou will have the option to copy and paste directly from your MS Word Documents using the “Paste from Word” icon. (Instructions are included at the top of each section.)

  • Step 2: Select and Post Course Syllabus
    In step 2, you will tie each of your current CRNs to a syllabus created in step 1, and then post the e-syllabi (viewable on the online UHD Class Schedule in e-Services).


  • Step 3: View Posted Course Syllabus History
    In step 3, you may view your e-syllabi for the current semester as it will appear on the website.
