How do I obtain birth control from Student Health Services?
Make an appointment with a Student Health Services' Clinician for a Well Woman Exam and Pap Smear.  If the exam is normal, the clinician will write an contraceptive order and will usually allow one pack to be picked up the same day.
The clinician will review the results of the Pap Smear and determine the final Contraceptive Order.  You will be contacted by mail within two-three weeks with the results.  A nurse may contact you will additional information or instructions if an Abnormal Pap result is received.
  OR
Go to your personal physician for a Well Woman Exam/Pap Smear and have the laboratory results sent to our office.  After we receive the Pap results, an brief appointment with a Clinician will be required to obtain an order for birth control.
