If you do not remember when you were last vaccinated, or it has been over ten years, the CDC
recommends you should receive the Tetanus and Diphtheria booster vaccine. |

Student Health Services offers the
Tetanus and Diphtheria booster vaccine to students, faculty and staff. |
|
Other reasons you should receive the booster vaccine: |
- You have a cut, scrape or puncture wound
- You plan to travel out of the country
- You have been in contact with contaminated water (i.e. wading through flood water or cleaning an area contaminated by flood water)
- You work with dirt or manure
- Your job, recreational or other activities can result in cuts, scrapes or puncture wounds.
