Tetanus & Diphtheria Booster Vaccine
Do you know when you received your last
Tetanus and Diphtheria Booster?
If you do not remember when you were last vaccinated, or it has been over ten years, the CDC
recommends you should receive the Tetanus and Diphtheria booster vaccine.
Student Health Services offers the
Tetanus and Diphtheria booster vaccine to students, faculty and staff.
Other reasons you should receive the booster vaccine:
  • You have a cut, scrape or puncture wound
  • You plan to travel out of the country
  • You have been in contact with contaminated water (i.e. wading through flood water or cleaning an area contaminated by flood water)
  • You work with dirt or manure
  • Your job, recreational or other activities can result in cuts, scrapes or puncture wounds.
