ToastMasters is an international organization that was reformed to help the students of UHD to be better prepared in public speaking.  With the help of the advisor, Dr. Henry Roubicek, we guide you using helpful and healthy criticism, to improve your verbal communication skills.  Not only do we help you improve your verbal communication skills but also non-verbal (i.e. dress, posture, and eye contact are but a few).  Tone, speed, comprehension, body language are a few of the key factors that we focus on to help the students of UHD become better speakers in the near future.  Although we are a communication organization we are open to all majors and students with open minds.
