Phi Sigma Tau is the international Honor society in Philosophy.  The Texas Nu Chapter was established here at the University of Houston-Downtown in May of 2007.  Phi Sigma tau is an organization that recognizes those that academically excel in philosophical work.

Eligibility Requirements:

1) Have completed three semesters of college coursework.

2) Have completed (or are enrolled in) at least two courses in philosophy.

3) Have a cumulative GPA in philosophy of higher than 3.0

4) Have a cumulative overall GPA of at least 3.0
