The American Medical Students Association is committed to improving health care and healthcare delivery to all people; promoting active improvement in medical education; involving its members in social, moral and ethical obligations of the profession of medicine; assisting in the improvement and understanding of the world health problems; contributing to the welfare medical students, interns, residents and post-MD/DO trainees; and advancing the profession of medicine.

- Must have a love for the pursuit of medicine

- Attend 2/3s of meetings and events per semester

- A minimum of 5 hours of volunteering per semester

$10/year local fee and/or $35/year national fee
